About the Program

Jazz Saturdays is a jazz workshop series held in Boise, Idaho and underwritten by Gayle Manufacturing Company of Nampa, Idaho (Jim DeBlasio, CEO). The workshops present a variety of guest artists from across the nation and provide an extraordinary opportunity for jazz education and appreciation in Boise and the surrounding Treasure Valley.

The workshops occur on September 28, 2002 and March 15, 2003. "Jazz Saturdays" will also be presenting the Acoustic Jazz Quartet as part of the 8th Annual CSI Jazz Summit at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls on Friday, January 24, 2003 and Saturday, January 25, 2003. The workshops are offered free of charge to musicians of all age and ability levels. Individuals who wish to participate in this year's Jazz Saturdays workshops should contact Brent Jensen at 208-732-6765, or send him e-mail from the contacts page of this Web site.
