Performance
Logistics
This
event operates on a very tight schedule. It is absolutely critical
that your acts start on time, and there will be a stage manager
(Vincent Miresse) who ensures that everyone keeps on schedule. Bottom
line is that if a performer(s) starts late, they cut their performance
time short rather than pushing the overall event schedule.
All performers need to have their gear loaded into the venue through
the back entrance no less than 1 hour before their performance.
You also have the option of loading your gear into the venue before
the day event starts (before 7pm on Friday and before Noon on Saturday)

If your performance requires a lot of time consuming gear setup
(such as a drum set, complex racks and board, etc), you should load
your gear into the venue and setup as much as much of your gear
as possible before your performance to ease the transition between
sets.
There will be two stage areas at the venue (A and B). A is on the
left from the audience perspective, and B is on the right. These
stages will be on the left as festival attendees enter the venue.
The back of the venue, where you load in, is on the West side of
the venue, closest to Stage A.
ABSOLUTELY
IMPORTANT: You have a total of 30 minutes to setup your
gear and conduct a SILENT sound-check. 15 minutes into the performance
before you, you will start setting up on the adjacent stage. After
the prior performance is complete, you will have another 15 minutes
to complete your setup during the Intermission act.
There will not be a person running sound for this event, rather
there will be a mixer board along side each stage and a sound support
person will help you route your instruments to the board and handle
any critical issues that occur during your performance. It is HIGHLY
recommended that if you have a complicated setup, that you bring
your own mixer, setup as if you are performing live with that mixer
and setup, sound check via headphones, and then route your mixer
output to the main stage mixer.
In short, this is a seamless series of performances, and it is important
that you are ready to perform at the time the scheduled indicates
that your performance begins.
